Shop Boards
Hand-crafted boards shaped by tide, storm, and grain.
Made on Read Island, British Columbia
Each board is shaped by hand using carefully selected island wood — yew, maple, and figured grain — finished slowly, and made to last.
These are not mass-produced pieces. Every board carries its own grain story, tide line, and mark of place.
New and Available
One-of-a-kind pieces, ready to ship.
Epoxy Boards
Inspired by storms, tides, and the land of Surge Narrows.
My epoxy boards depict this place — the storms, the tides, the land of Surge Narrows.
Yew Boards
Island yew, slow-grown and enduring.
Some woods are not renewable in a lifetime.
The yew used for these boards came from a single, limited source on Vancouver Island. Once these pieces are gone, there will be no more made from this wood.

I work only with what becomes available — not what can be replaced.
Figured Maple Boards
Where grain becomes the story.
The Craft
Boards are cut, shaped, sanded, and finished slowly — often over days. Grain is preserved, not forced. Epoxy is used sparingly, only where it adds to the story.
Every board is finished with my own board balm and meant to be used, not just displayed.
