Each Fir Gathering Board is cut from local fir, finished by hand, and shaped to let the natural rings and character of the wood tell the story. No two are ever the same; rather, each piece carries its own grain, cracks, curves, and the slow record of seasons grown.
Finished with our natural board balm of food-safe mineral oil, beeswax, and carnauba wax, these boards are made for serving simple things beautifully: a wedge of cheese, warm bread, fresh fruit, olives, or whatever gathers people around the table.
Best suited for serving, these pieces are meant to be used gently and often to bring a little of the forest to the table.
Care
Wash with warm water and mild soap, then dry with a towel right away. Avoid prolonged moisture or leaving damp items sitting on the surface. Reapply board balm occasionally to keep the wood nourished and protected.
