Before a board becomes something useful, it begins as a tree—shaped by years of coastal rain, salt air, and slow growth. The forests surrounding Surge Narrows have a quiet way of teaching patience, and that same pace finds its way into the workshop.

Of Surge & Keel is my way of carrying a little of this place beyond the island, creating pieces that invite people to slow down, gather, and enjoy the simple rituals of everyday life.

They're where fresh bread is sliced on a Sunday morning, where cheese is shared with friends, where berries picked in summer are carried out to the deck, and where family recipes quietly become traditions.
